youre car is bad!

It caused some dude on that site to have a tissy fit!

"Its ugly ... 13/14 quarter times are'nt that fast"
I always wanted a 94 supra, I wonder if being a arsehole is a prerequisite?

Good job with the ride man keep it up. If you ever get a chance to stomp on a supra please video tape it so we have something to anger up the blood over there.

Peace

yup..but what is our stock 1/4 time and what is their stock 1/4 mile time?

how much more $ we have to put into our cars to keep up w/ cars that are faster out of the box...they lost sight of that.

i'm sure if i modded a ferrari or something that crazy it would take a modded supra out...but what's the enterance fee for that ferrari compared to the supra?

yeah I was just saying that a 13 sec car isnt fast in general be it a maxima, supra, classic...whatever. I didnt mean anything negative about it but that is about all I caught that was worth agreeing with lol (I honestly didnt read that much in that thread).

I didnt even mean it in the context of Marc's car either. I have no idea how fast his car is except that its faster than mine .

13's aren't too fast... but it would still be pretty fun. i'm hoping to be able to break into the 12's down the road though. faster if possible... but this is my daily driver and the Z will be the "race car" so i don't know how fast i'll take it.

13's might not be that fast but think about the person sitting in the other car, he will be like oh its a beat up max(no offense to anyone) and then be suprised that the win wasn't so easy. And there is nothing better than seeing the look on someone's face when they had there a** handed to them by a sleeper.

correction, there's no "race" in "my race car".

i've actually already surprised quite a few people with the thing and am not pulling that much power at all. i wouldnt' be surprised if i'm barely touching the 14's. its still fun to see the look of people's faces though. for instance my friend was driving and wanted to mess around with a C4 vette. as well all know that thing can tear me to pieces but the guy driving did have an odd expression on his face when he saw that he wasn't quite getting away as fast as he thought he would.

Wow, there were like 2 different sides to that post. Some that like it, and some that hated it. It's that taste that matters, not the people. If you like, then you like it. People don't have to be hating you for it.

Just like this: http://ueba.com.br/forums/index.php?showtopic=12751

O/T, my friend just showed me. crazy as anything!

Yup typical ego-tripping response. But you know what....who cares what the supra guys think? Better yet, who cares what anyone think about your car? They don't like it....big deal, nothing to sweat about. They like it.....hey, bonus there.

OT: Galant VR-4, sleeper of the century, slightly modded, will walk a supra. destroy one.

mtcookson, i've always been a fan of your car. the supra crowd seems to suffer from a delusional elitism. and ignorance. one could up the ante' indefinitely: "a Ferrari Enzo will walk a p.o.s. Supra..."

1975 Datsun 280Z - in the process of swapping in a Nissan (Infiniti) VH45DE out of a 1990 Q45. 32 valve, DOHC, 4.5 liter, all aluminum V8 pushing over 300 hp and well over 300 ft. lb. of torque stock. Mating that to a 300ZX Twin Turbo transmission, down the road a full carbon fiber drive shaft, to a Z32 300ZX N/A differential (4.08 ratio). After all that is done I'll be putting on a nicely sized single turbo and aim to hit at the very least, 650 rwhp (which is claimed to be good to push a Z into the 9's). I'm hoping to push even more power than that though... the engine I have is apparently bad due to abuse or something (excess play in the crank) so I just said **** it, i'm going to throw it all in there, boost it, and see what the engine can handle on stock internals. I'm going to push it till it blows, grab another VH45 and build it up.

As for the Maxima being luxury... my dad had a friend in Indiana who owned a Maxima. He later sold it and bought a Jaguar... after a while he told my dad that he wished he had never got rid of the Maxima. Said it road much better than the Jag and everything.

infiniti = nissan in japan
top infiniti = q45

if you think the q45 is badass... check out the nissan president that the japanese get. talk about luxury, that thing has got it all.

Jag = upscale FORD. Even though it has a pretty cat on the hood, it's still a Ford.

Bimmer has a 4.4L engine that puts out roughly the same, if not more than that.
