hello,
it's a vg30e and it will be very hard to bump up the power to over 200 with simple mods.

yes its the VG30E. Dont confuse it with the VG30DE in the 300zx. its possible to go over 200 with parts but you will have to fabricate them. there are not much perf mods for the VG motors. or the VE for that matter...

Fabrication is fun, thats what keeps the passion on with me and my max. VG's do have potentioal as does typically any motor. Some more than others. Work with what ya got.

Y-pipe, catback exhaust, high-flow cat, cold air intake, underdrive pulley, JWT stage 1 cams, ported heads = 175-180whp with a full tuneup if I remember everything correctly. Definitely grab some lightweight 16-17 inch wheels, my factory wheels weighed like 51 lbs each with the tires. Don't be afraid of any car that comes along. You'll be surprised what your Max can do. I had a 5spd, and I had a lot of fun with it. I'll always love that car.

Motors = Electric
VG30E = not Electric (gas Powered)

Actually a motor is just a device that converts energy into mechanical power... Hence specifying whether it's an "electric motor" or a "gas motor" or a "pneumatic motor."

def. of motor
