Granted they're not the best pics, but that's all I had of my setup. You wanted pics, there you go lol Actually there is a pretty big difference. I'll try to get some better shots since we're having a meet today.

Same wattage but more color temp which makes it more look like HIDs. Light output is great too, very noticeable.

I have the Xtreme Whites and to me they still look like they have a substantial yellow hue. Not super pleased with them. Might try Plamas or perhaps HIDs in the future.

As tempting as it may be, with all the $$$ you spend on HID fogs, you can buy an unlimited supply of H3 Plasmas

Why do people change their fog lights? The more yellow = better.

To give you an idea of how overpriced PIAA bulbs are, these are $3 H3 Super White bulbs from autolumination:

The low-beams are Sylvania Silverstars.

Granted, they have no warranty like PIAA and they may blow out at any moment, the results aren't that bad.

Not much fog where I live. I use them as secondary driving lights rather than fog lights.

I agree with Arnold about yellow fogs... if you're actually gonna use em for anything besides looks, go with yellow, esp in the snow... I just replaced my OEM fogs this morning with PIAA Crystal Ion Yellows (Thanks for the bulbs, Irish44J!) and they look awesome... I'll post a pic if I get a chance to take some outside....

On another note... earlier this week I heard Silverstars were on sale on the Sylvania website... ya might wanna check that out too....

I don't think so. I haven't gotten pulled over yet. But then again, mine is not bluish or purplish. I got 5000K.

over priced ?
I paid like 60 bux for my pair on ebay i believe (maybe less i forget)
I have piaa hypyer whites for fogs. I did them to better match my setup with DDE's and polargs/piaas all around. Perfect match i believe.

6000K usually gives out puplish color. 8000K gives out bluish color. 12000K gives out deep puplish color (looks very very illegal). There are other ratings in between the ones I listed. Depending on what company you go w/, colors might be a little different.
