Synthetic Fluid in the 6 speed manual

I am looking to replace the factory fluid with some synthetic in my 2002 6 speed. Any suggestions on brand/type, and also the how to...

does it make an improvement? My 02 has about 50k on and it seems to have gotten a little 'notchier' lately.

Thanks for any help.

I'm assuming you are talking about engine oil. Check the Fluids and Lubricants section. Tons of info there.

I've run Redline MT-90 for nearly a year. No issues. Writeup on my site.
