I took my car to the dealership yesterday for the fuel-cut problem and to have them cut my rotors. Nissan has the worst service departments out of all car manufacturers. They told me I would have to pay $150 to have my rotors cut because I didn't put Nissan brake pads on my car when I replaced my brakes, and my warranty on the rotors is void because of that. They also make me pay a $40 shop fee for the NON-warranty work they performed. My car has 33,000 miles on it. They recommend all new brakes done by Nissan for the sum of $600. All I want is for those Lazy bastards to cut my rotors.
As for the fuel-cut tsb, they took the car for a test drive and they could not find any problems. They put just under 50 miles on my car, when all they needed to do was drive around the parking lot.
Needless to say I'm calling Nissan first thing Monday morning to tell them I want my $40 back and also that I want them to call Fergus Nissan and tell them that they will be doing the specified work on my car under warranty.

Also, $150 seems like a HELL of a lot of money to get rotors turned.

If all else fails, just get it done at some brake shop for $50.
