My car has no pull on the highway anymore.. I didn't realize there would be any difference until today when I decided to race this integra on the George Washington Bridge. Dam...... Took pretty long to pass him.
If you don't have an intake yet, get it. It really helps.

have you tried hooking up the OSCAI on your max? That also seems to do very well at highway speeds.

Indeed it does. My car just seems to rush from 60 - 80 then shift into third and continue to pull all the way to 95 or so before softening.

Glitz and Glitter

RBa,
I just had to write to you to tell you what an excellent picture you have of your Max. That car looks f**ckin great! Are you a photographer or something?
Anyway, my compliments to you.

I also agree your 95 max picture is pretty damn cool looking.
Why did you take off your intake?

Re: Glitz and Glitter

walsh03......Thanks for the compliment!!
My sig pic was photoshoped. I'm not a professional photographer, I just do it as a hobby... Used to spend all my money on photo equipment (lenses, filters, databacks, film, ETC) and spend all my free time taking pictures like a loser... Then I discovered this site. Now I'm dedicated towards modding.....

GXEme.....I removed the intake b/c I thought it wasn't doing anything but making noise.. Boy was I wrong.

LoveSick.... I used to have the Stillen intake. I read somewhere that it does make you lose some low end torque but I couldn't tell until I recently removed it.. Your car will pull better at high speeds though. I paid $200 for it which is the price they charge at Stillen.com. You could get it for about $150 somewhere else.
The Jim wolf intake should be cheaper and it's the same ****...
But I'd recomend a Cold air intake if you got the loot...It costs about $240 with shipping. I just saw 1hotmax's Yesterday and it looks & sounds sooo nice. He says he cant tell the difference from the Stillen intake but it looks way better.
I ordered mine from Cattman today and it'll probably be in by next week. Will post pics afterwards!!!

Do you think just a K&N box filter is good enough? Will removing the resonator help filter performance? Once I got the resonator removed, I will connect a hose to it that loop to the bumper of the car.

Are you talking about that white box under the battery?
Why don't you just do the OSCAI? I think it's a similar process.
I heard that really makes a difference. It only costs about $5 unless you get the K&N drop in.
