I was surprised that I pulled on him so quickly. He is a guy I work with and he is heavily modded. Intake, Headers, Pully, Exhaust, Motor Mounts.

But I'm not gonna complain.

Great run GTPs suck, fastest one I ever seen ran 12s and it was supposed to be the worlds fastest GTP- fully built with big blower and NOS, cam, trans work , slicks with skinnys in the back. It kept on runing like mid to high 12s and sometimes even 13s.

dude, i'm not a big gtp fan either, but let's be cool (and real). there are a hell of a lot more gtps in the 12's and 13's than there are maximas. not to mention that it's a LOT cheaper and easier to get them there.

to the original poster: great run.

For fair comparisons we should compare a Grand Prix GT with a 3.8L NA vs 3.5L Maxima. Supercharged 3.8L is eassier to make power with for sure, that is why you see more EVOs in the 10s than Lancer Oz's. If Maxima came with a turbocharger or supercharger from the factory, trust me you would see many more of them on the road and drag strip. If you want class, then GTP aint a car for ya, Maxima will give you more smile's per dollar.

Yes, that's all the mods. Will be working on saving some pennies to get a Greddy Emanage. The car is running pretty lean right now. I won't be going to the track again until I get the Emanage.

i dont know about you guys, i like GTPs, buddy of mine has one, in stock forum there nie tq'y vehicles, dont get me wrong, my 00 max with a stillen muffler rear section and a 5spd would eat him alive, and so would my bird with an intake exhaust work and TC work, but GTP's are nicely executed america cars IMO

i dont know why youd bash them either, there a very similar kind of car to the maxima, minus being a little heavyer

i can really see why u calling a cts v a "granny mobile", but it's funny how you need to call it overpriced to justify your argument.

The greddy turbo'd g35 will be torn up by a lingenfelter cts. I mean i know you hate american cars or something... But give me a break, nothing you can tell me about g35 will compete with any of those lingenfelter cars. If that's not good enough, why not look at the ls7? That g35 is a joke in comparison (to the CTS as well). we were comparing 4 foor sedans here, and The CTS stock is what im comparing to our cars here, which STOCK runs a low 13. That modded one is probablly in the 11's or 10's. The 425 cid costs 25 grand, how much does all that greddy turbo crap cost? I bet damn close in the end.

I can really understand people calling a C5 beast a granny car.... Plenty of g35s that can run a 9.5 without nitrous right? How many maximas have even broken into 10's ? I love maximas, but i don't think american cars are crap.

Hmmm. Let's see. $25k for 427 cid and around $5k for Greddy twin turbo kit.

whatever, that wasn't my bigger point. Shouldn't focus just on that...
Anyways, if you disagreed with me, or did disagree. That adds nothing to the purpose of my comment, that american cars do not suck. Or are you just looking for a way to make me look dumb?

Anyways, yea 5 grand, i'm sure that's all there is to it? Not really... Considering i'ms ure they got a bunch of other work done too, and it probablly costs atleast 15-20 grand for everything you need. Wasn't my real point, but thanks.

that's your opinion. Class? I think the caddy is damn classy.

Why do you guys need to pick at what i said? You the ones that are hyper opinionated. I like the g35 and the maxima... That wasn't the point, you guys are just thickheaded and retarded to think a cadillac sucks.

Question, have you ever sat in a cadillac cts? Just want to know. Is it that you just hate every car that isn't a nissan? What the hell is up with you guys. A cts is a 40 grand car.. The g35 is a 35 grand car FYI. Also, bang for buck, class, and performance, i think there is no contest here, also considering the cars aren't even in the same category.

Whatever u guys want to think, i just stated what my opinions were. What a sad thing it is when someone disagrees?
Reassembly and blueprinting of the engine
• Professional installation, testing and tuning
• Chassis dyno testing after installation
• LPE’s 2 year / 24,000 mile warranty

Yea... professional installation and warranty. Everything you need in one package. Please do tell me, ammi, how much this mod to the g35 costs, since your so inclined to prove me wrong. Then explain in the end of the day how much the price in comparison costs. I've read of guys spending well over 25k on there work. Also don't forget lingenfelter is a far better known and respected tuner then greddy.

No beef guys, i'm sorry i got testy alti... I love japenese cars, i just wanna share my thoughts on some american cars which are awesome.

It's all good bro. I'm sure they're ripping our Jap cars in the GTP forums as we speak.

These usa vs. jap discussions are always fun. We're just passionate about our cars.

IMO , most american cars are inferior in quality to most foreign cars. Now american trucks are a different story. I've got an Explorer & a Grand Cherokee & i think they're awesome!

you are the one that said Greddy twin turbo kit would cost close to $25k. I told you the kit cost around $5k.

How do you know Lingenfelter is far better known company than Greddy? Where's the research? Proof?
