IMO , most american cars are inferior in quality to most foreign cars. Now american trucks are a different story. I've got an Explorer & a Grand Cherokee & i think they're awesome!

in my oppinion the jap vs america arguments are quite ignorant, i can understand someone saying "o i just dont like GTP's never have" but what i dont get is why american car junk gets thrown in there, and your probably right about the gtp forums, i bet guys over there are like "eww nissan how gay are those"

generalizing the whole america car market also doesnt work, ive seen some crappy cars come from both 'domestic' and 'import' car maker, the problem is now a days most companies cant even fall under those two categories with companies building plants all over the world, but your right, some of the stuff GM and ford are building lately, ick, but there geting better slowly, its hard now a days not to buy a new car that isnt put together at least not half bad

ps cars are cars and now a days are very hard to compare, people always make comparisons that are out of this world (modiffying my civic vs me buying a viper, with 30k i could smoke a viper!) and that kinda what i read when i see "g35 turbo kit ****** the lingenfelter CTS or w/e, there kinda hard to compare, being as the g35 is a car in theory, not one built by a tuner, and the CTS is a packaged tuner car, its almost uncomparable so its silly to get offended over something like that, both sides.

i dont like CTS myself, there nice and all but i dont know, something is just missing for me to like them, ive driven a few of them also

i do like g35s, but i dont like the idea of turboing a car with a c/r of 10.3 to 1, but hey ive seen s/c'ed 350z's in magazines left and right, dont know if the bottom ends are built or not but there hot thats for sure

How do you know Lingenfelter is far better known company than Greddy? Where's the research? Proof?

more mis info, this is cute, greddy is a brand, lingenfelter is a tuner, he builds cars, greddy builds car tuner parts

again almost incomparble, theres no argument there

Ammi,

why don't you go to a google on john lingenfelter...

I figured you guys were into and followed professional racing sports.
If you some more information, maybe you might not be so eager to shoot down my comments.
Go readup on the quad turbo cavalier then paralyzed him, and what he did for automotive motorsports...

Now your comparing greddy to lingenfelter ? ...

no comment.

What da hell for?

Like someone else said, Greddy is a brand, Lingenfelter is a tuner, he builds cars, greddy builds car tuner parts. $25k for 427 cid and around $5k for Greddy twin turbo kit.

You made a comment, go ahead and read about who he is...

Go to anyone who races, professionaly or ameuter racing and see which is a bigger name, or a more respected name in performance?
Just because a bunch of ricers are into greddy stuff, doesn't really make a general consensus of what are the biggest names in racing. I just looked at your avatar etc and can't believe your even arguing about this, it's ridiculous.

P.S) Your standard 5k vs 25k argument is obviously depracated. You missed the point. It's not 25k just for the engine, it's for it being fully assembled in your vehicle, amongst other things. The sum of the work on the greddy stuff put in a g35 plus costs of the vehicle, i argued was comparable. To what extent i didn't argue... This was my point, and yes i know it's just 5k for the turbo kit.

I guess in the end of the argument, nothing is gained here. Whatever.

I know who he is. I live in Detroit; surrounded by vettes, stangs, and camaros. I did missed your point on 5k vs 25k for mods.

I couldn't believe it was possible u didn't know about him, i'm right about that atleast...

My point was after reading my350.com and seeing what costs are, when blackbird said the g35 was cheaper, i disagreed. let's give the thread back to the topic, awesome time man : ]

I hope i can be even close to that when i run my max.

I'm not here to argue that the GTP is better or worse than the Maxima. I have a lot of respect for GTPs out there. It was my friend that I ran against and he has never been to the track before. He bought the car like that w/those mods.

Thanks. I'm sure you should be close or better. You have similar if not more mods.
