easy

Really anything will do, but dont use anything that will strip your wax off again (grease and wax remover, windex etc.) just take a q-tip in some water and scrub it off..itll come right off.

You can get detailing brushes that are soft and designed to get wax out of those areas.

just get a detailing tool, i have a black magic one it has a rubber tip on one end and a soft brush on the other. works well although the tip could be stronger but owell as long as it gets the job done.

Yes just get a detailing brush. You can wet it if the dry brush won't do the job.

What about spots of wax on the paint. I waxed the car at 1AM and missed a ton. I didn't drive it the next week and now have spots where the wax seems to be caked on. Any suggestions for this? Thanks,
Chris

Yes. If you have dried wax on the paint, use a wet microfiber cloth to remove it. You can wet it with soapy water, or use a quick detailer spray. It should wipe right off. What kind of wax are we talking about here?

yeah old wax should just buff off, granted it might be a bit harder.

You might want to wash the car with dawn dish detergent, and wax it again. I personally wouldnt try to fix that.

If you can't get the wax off (same with other paint products) use the wax/product on that same small area. It will usually disolve itself. Just scrub it all off with a microfiber towel while the area is still wet and hasn't had a chance to re-dry.

See if it will come off with the wet MF before you go removing the wax with Dawn. Dawn dries out the door seals and rubber components of the car so don't use it unless you have to. A polish or cleaner is much better to use on the car to remove wax.
I still think it will come right off with a wet MF though. If car soap + water doesn't work, try a detail spray.

I am going to take it to my shop on Sunday. I have access to deionized water and a few thousand sq ft of space to play in. I will let you know how it turns out.

Thanks again,

Chris

Drying? I don't have to dry it. The water is totally mineral free. I bring some food. Turn on the fan and eat. 10-15 mins later, it is totally dry as well as spot free. As soon as I gat my house I will be installing a DI system in the barn for this purpose. I wish I could get some to you Mike. You would love it!
