i am greatly annoyed at how my 2k maxgle with spoiler slams all the time that i close the trunk!
its soo annoying! even the slightest tap to close te trunk results in a hard slam! why does this do this? has annyone else noticed this as well with their maxs with spoilers? everyone someone puts something in the trunk, i have to try to remember to tell them not to let the trunk slam, if i forget before they close it
SLLAAAM!!!! they slam the trunk hard, and paint chips off at the bottom of the trunk... what can i do about this?
in order for me to close the trunk, i hvae to either hold the trunk ll the way down while it closes, or i just lightly tap it so it closes on its own.. though it still results in a minor slam... damn trunk and spoilers...

I've heard this before. Was it always like that or did it get worse? My SE AE doesn't seem to do that. I wonder if they change the springs on those cars that have spoilers from the factory. Was your spoiler factory or dealer installed?
