Need Help in Tuning w/SAFC-II on '02 6 Speed

On Friday I will be installing my new SAFC-II on my '02 6 Speed and would like assistance from someone that is experienced in tuning with this system. Currently my A/F graph is extremely whacky. I am running LEAN and know that with the SAFC-II I can manipulate the A/F better.

Any help with the SAFC-II will be greatly appreciated.

My 1st Run:

You just start adding fuel on the high throttle settings until you get it down to where you want it. I run approx 13 n/a. I have my RPM points set starting at 4k because when WOT you spend almost no time in first gear below 4k and after that it just drops to around 4k when shifting. (not sure on a 6 speed thats for the auto)

My car actually runs rich and I have to take fuel away.

You need to have a wideband installed or go back to the dyno to do it because you can't do it on just one set of readings it takes time to flatten the line out to where you want it. You just have to keep adjusting until you get it as close as you can to where you get best performance. (ie in the 12.5-13.5 range for n/a). On spray I tune for around 11.5-12.0.

Installing a wideband is best because your a/f changes with temp, barometric pressure etc and needs to be adjusted to suit conditions if you want the best performance you have to tweak it each visit to the track.

i found that they cost about 230? So what exactly does it do? Just monitors and allows fine tuning of the A/F and other variables? Also what is a Greddy E Manage?

I'm selling an older AFCI on Ebay pretty cheap...it was sitting around, but its tested and works great

if you are n/a and only bolt-ons don't waste your money on Emanage, you really have no need for it. http://www.greddy.com/prod_e_manage.htm its basically an AFC hopped up on steroids.
