Bird poop: How do I remove it w/o a full wash?

If I just washed my car and a bird pooped on it, what can I do to remove it w/o messing up the paint, if I don't want to re-wash the whole car? I don't want to scratch the paint, either.

Go buy Quick Detailer from Mothers at autozone or any auto parts place. Its called California Gold Showtime Instant Spray I think. Spray it on and wipe the crap off with a microfibre towel.

You could use a towel (preferably microfiber) and some soapy water (CAR SOAP) to remove it. Or you could use a quick detail spray. Just make sure you get the towel and the mess wet enough to wipe the mess off without much effort. Any scrubbing to get it off and you will probably scratch the paint. If you wipe the crap off before it dries, you won't have any problems. Just wipe it off, and wipe the area dry with another clean towel afterward.

1. Wipe the crap off
2. Kill the bird.

Phenry: Many folks use a QD and a decent (read: soft) towel to remove the poop. The earlier you get it off, the better.

It's like the 4th Gen commercial with the pigeons. All those birds have a secret hide out where they scan for freshly washed vehicles.
