Parting out my 1987 Maxima

Head gasket leak blew radiator. Time to put it to sleep after 262,000 miles. Too bad really.

Good and some recent parts at reasonable prices. Let me know what you need.

What condition are your engine/tranny mounts in? I'd be willing to buy them from you once you part down to them, assuming they aren't already shot (power from these engines tended to blow through mounts pretty fast).

Interior is tan with leather seats. Exterior is gold/brown.
I'll check the air regulator for condition.
I suspect the mounts may be worn but can't tell for awhile yet.

I'm in Coxsackie, about 150 miles north of NYC. All thruway driving.
Also, the interior is a dark brown, like a chocolate color.

I need some steering and brake pieces. Possibly a rack and front calipers. I also need a fuel pressure regulator, how's your's working? I'd also appreciate some pics of both interior and exterior if you can post some. Thanx. Sorry to see a Max go, at least you got so many miles out of it.

The max is automatic.
Fuel pressure regulator working fine. May have been replaced when Nissan installed set of new injectors , about 8,000 miles ago. I'll check it. Calipers in good working condition.

Turboast4, the car is champagne like yours pictured, with chocolate leather interior. Will post pix as soon as I figure out how to. Alternately, I will email pix to all who ask.

$15 + $7 shipping for the front grille. Email me at jsluszka@yahoo.com if interested. It is intact with some bubbling of the chrome paint or whatever they sprayed it with.

I just found front and rear (2 pair) Koni strut cartridges - new in the box, from 1988! I never installed them on the '87 max and then lost track of them. Offers accepted. Paid $280 in '88.

Jos,
Just curious, but there is a little white box under the driver side dorr panel - actually is toward the rear of the door, under the armrest. I could use that, the front strut mounts (if they are intact), and the driver-side power seatbelt assembly. How much would ou want for them - they would need to be shipped to Texas...

The price will determine if I can convince my wife to let me get them...

I'm looking for a cheap fix for my cousins 1987 Max. Do you have a good oil sending pressure unit? If you do what would the price and shipping be? I live in Minnesota.

Does the voice module work in this car? If so (and if you still have the car), how much would you want for all voice related parts?
