Crutchfield Faceplate Kit

Hi, anyone used this faceplate kit from crutchfield...opinions...does it blend with the front instrument panel? - thanks Noela

hey NOELA, I bought a kit like that and the problem I had was the face plate didn't go flush with the console of the car leaving a gap. looks fugly and real ricy.

I would get the GLE face plate its more money but it looks better and stronger.

I had one from crutchfield and the fit was perfect, but the color is black and not graphite. It looked fine to me.

ah, maybe it was a sh!ty kit that I bought. like I said it was a kit "like" that not one of crutchfield.

Thanks -- Breetb..do you remember the model number..how long ago was it..i am interested in a graphite color, and i want it to flush with the console..looks matter to me a LOT...when it comes to car interriors..

I have a 2k Max and when i removed my cd player i just screwed in my panasonic one and didn't even need a dash kit. Fits perfectly just like the stock one did and i saved money. Maybe that will work for you.

You meant GXE right? GLEs come with Bose.

I do not recall the model number. Bought within the last year. It was flush.
