Blown maf before or after adding aftermarket intake?

Just curious to see the results. I had mine blow a couple months after I put my Place Racing intake on. Just so everybody is clear I am not impling anything.

Although my Max is a 2K2, it was a late build and came with the supposedly better 2k3 MAF (22680-AM600) Maybe that's why??

I think it says AM-600 at the end of the # on the housing... there was a thread about that sometime ago but I can't find it right now....

The number is on the black tube (housing) like Puppet said. On a 2k2, the number is facing the firewall and kinda faint so you'll need a mirror and flashlight to read it (at least I did). Or remove it and read it.

You could srill have problems, but they seem to be fewer with the AM600 variety.
