I have a 95 se and im replacing the battery. I was wondering which optima yellow top i should buy. I have 2 amps
1)Alpine MRV-F340 4 chann
2) Phoenix gold xenon 1200.1 + 3 12" Jl W3V2 @ 4 ohms

now i was wondering which would be the best to buy for my car i really need one asap atm my lights dimm with just my alpine headunit playing lol. I also need one that will do well in the cold.

 

Only buy the yellow top if you plan on running the system off the battery while the car is off...otherwise I would get the red top.

 

which red top should i get then, do they provide the same performance as the yellow top ?

 

ok i have both and you need the one with the lite gray buttom that is the deep cycle and the ones with the black buttom is a regular one.i have a yellow top lite gray in my truck with two amps ones a 1200 watt and the other is a 600 watt and it does great.and the red top is in the max 96 model gxe.

 

im asking advice which would be the best for my car with that setup

 

like he said, red with grey bottom. I have this battery, its my second one only cause i sold the other with the car. I can run this battery dead and as soon as i get some power to it its as good as new. I am running plenty and it works just fine. check my cardomainsite

Hell yea it is....i was looking at it the other day and just realized it is manufactured like 4 blocks from my house!!!
