ok, I want header for my 2000 maxima. Which, and what type headers can I get? Also I heard you cant get headers unless you get the whole set including the y-pipe that comes with it, is that true. Also is there a set where I dont need the y-pipe that comes with the set, where I can use my cattman already on it, because right now I have a ijen CAI, cattman y, and greddy evo II, and I believe that the headers will give that little more performance im looking for along with my current mods.

 

Cattman or Hotshot... you'll most likely have to get rid of your y.... take a look through some of the recent threads... this topic comes up pretty often these days.... I would say more, but I've already posted on too many of these threads.... I don't even have headers....

 

i think for the 3.0 cattman has the best #'s proven by a dyno

 

You can just sell me your y-pipe if you can't use it with your new headers

But you can't buy a cattman y-pipe, then later decide and get JUST the headers and "complete" the system, because the y-pipe alone, and header kit which comes with its own y-pipe are different from one another.

So basically,

The cattman y-pipe and the y-pipe that comes with the headers are different.

 

Yes. y-pipe from cattman and headers can not be used in conjunction. The headers provide best results from a 3.5. I did a dyno and it showed a 30hp increase on certain parts of the power ban.

Soon my Y-pipe will be for sale, it's been on the car for almost 2 years and no problems, I'll probably sell it for 125-150$ + shipping, oh it's a cattman.

I am about to have the same problem...I have the Stillen y-pipe and I am ordering cattman headers in about 2 weeks. If anyone is interested in my piece let me know.

i LOVE the cattman headers. the sound is music to my ears, i also have cattman's exhaust so it could vary if you keep your stock exhaust or go with another brand.

revs above 4k is so euphoric, it's my new radio station.

Is thier any way we can get a group deal going on with Cattman Headers, atleast for christmas, i want headers tooo. But i also got my Stillen Y pipe!!! But maybe we can get a better deal if a certain amount is sold. Im thinking of buying myself headers for Christmass!!!!!

 

I LOVE MY CATTMAN HEADERS AND CATBACK !!!!!! MY two favorite sounds are my woman moaning and my max growling (both very loud).
