is it worth to install remote start on a stock alarm?

That would be difficult to say. First of all, how do you start the car since it's a manual tranny. You have to have the clutch engage to start the engine, right? Secondly, that you probably gonna deal with a lot of wiring to the factory alarm where as that you'll have two remote, one for disabling the alarm and two for starting up the car. I'm not sure if that would give you an idea that you have to consider.

Zaypka, how would you go about doing this? I install for Circuit City and I cant say Ive ever seen a stock alarm for everything except the remote start. If you really want the remote start, spend the money and get like a Viper 560xv for example. FanaticMadMax, there is a safety switch that goes to the brain of the alarm. There is a wire on the ecu that is grounded when manual trannys are in neutral, and you tap into this wire, and run it to the alarm brain so it only starts when the car is in neutral. You do get what you pay for which is why Directed Electronics (Viper, Clifford, Valet, etc) are expensive. You will pay as much for the installation as you will for the alarm though, remote start installations arent cheap, we charge 160 at Circuit. You should really find someone from the org in NY because most shops will not install remote starts on manual trannys to begin with. The Viper 791xv is also a very popular one, just do your research, theres plenty of info on the web about all this. Hope this helps
