how is ur gas mileage? mine SUCKS! dont kno why

i have a 98 SE 5spd......i have 100k miles.....recently replaced all new spark plugs (NGK coppers).....brand new knock sensor...fuel filter....and air filter...i use premium gas....and i am gettin about 19-21 MPG with mostly highway driving......also i dont beat on my car....i dont have any codes or anything....is there anythnig i can do to make the gas mileage better?? maybe 02 sensors? or fuel injector cleaner?

yeay another thread about grass.........I mean gas

Edit: ooh yeah I get 21-24mpg thanks Terran for reminding me of posting my gas milage...

BTW, I get about 26-27mpg.

geez guys. rip the guys ****en head off... my god a simple question do we have to be so hostile on this forum? Serously its just a question... we are suposed to support each other... This is a comunity not a prison where u get pounded in the *** for asking a questions...

Oh no another e-thug.

Do you get through real life by threatening to beat people up or is it just on internet? Theres really no need to threaten people. You had a valid point (not that I agree with it...we have like 1 of these threads per page), but you completely undermine it by acting like some kind of schoolyard bully.

I know. It doesn't really matter though. Physical threats aren't right and I doubt the people you live and work with would stand for them in real life and there's no reason to stand for them on the internet.

I was one of the ones putting the guy down anyway...we have far to many of these threads and I'm sure he could find all the info he needed just looking in the faqs (for how to get better gas mileage) and looking back a few pages. I made it easy for him though so that hopefully this won't turn into yet another 3 page thread of people saying what mpg they get.

I have no problem with you expressing your opinion and would have said nothing, but making a personal threat is just out of line.
