1) 86 Mitsubishi Pickup 5-speed:
Cheap price, good first vehicle.

2) 93 Ford Probe GT 5-speed:
GREAT handling and decent performance.

3) 2001 Nissan Maxima SE 5-speed:
Beautiful car, 4-doors, quick, $hitty paint, crappy ECU/fuel delivery problem, rattling hood and drivers mirror, with less than 5K miles.

1. 1992 Ford Escort GT aka "Poit" -- Awesome little car, for a Ford. 17" wheels, sport suspension, small and fast with only a 130 HP Mazda engine (it actually said that on the block)

2. 2001 Nissan Maxima SE aka "Six" -- Need I say more? Considering what I started out with, this car is really AWESOME!!!!! About the name, considering I had an inline 4, a mean V6 is wonderful arty:

1 - 1975 Oldsmobile Omega
Gas guzzler, but free (grandma's car)
Problem - buttercream yellow - was made fun of lots

2 - 1989 Suzuki Swift
4 Cylinder Death Trap, but still free (Older sister's old car)

3 - 1995 Eagle Talon
Turbo engine - fast and fun, but put 80k miles in 2 years
Beginning of my string of trading in while upside down

4 - 1998 Chrysler Sebring
Base model - sucked a$$
Contributed to more upsidedown-ness

5 - 1999 Dodge Intrepid
Couldn't take it when my best bud bought a Maxima
Still very upside down

6 - 2000 Nissan Maxima SE
Love it but I paid sticker when you factor in the
financing of all my upsidedown-ness! I still think
it's worth it, but I have to drive it until it's
paid for!

1) 1993 Honda Civic DX 4-door - automatic
THE best commuter car ever made! Bought her brand new in January 1994 and 230,000+ miles later, she still runs good. Very few problems...maybe because that was the last year the Civic was made in Japan exclusively. Hmmmm....

2) 2001 Maxima SE - automatic
No need to say anything about this one. Love it! Cars like it: 0

I've had 5 Nissans (including an Infiniti I30t), 2 Hondas and 1 VW. I love my present car, it's probably the last great sedan still made in Japan.

That car had a v6 and automatic transmission, enough power but the handling was really bad specially over 110-120KM/hr, it remember me good times though, the car had all the A/C button but on a service check they told us that there was no A/C on this car.

Cheers

2. '82 Accord hatchback 5 speed

4. '95 Lexus SC400 auto
5. '01 Maxima SE auto

The Camaro was built like a piece of crap. The Accords were slow and reliable. The SC400 was a great car but maybe not worth the extra $'s. The only complaint so far with my Max is that I got the auto.

My Cars

a) Gold 1977 Olds Cutlass with a 260 cid V8.
My father got me this car for my 19th birthday. I got a kick out of it until it got stolen 2 weeks after I got it.
After we recovered the car, I decided to paint it Black Cherry and redo the vinyl top to a tan and get some BFG Radial T/As on American Racing Outlaw II rims. As soon as I got my car out the shop from the paint job, they started messing with it again. I sold it after that.

b) Black/Silver 1986 Chevy S-10 Blazer 4wd with 2.8L V6.
(a.k.a. Camille). Camille was unique in the fact she was shod with BFG Radial T/As. Over time, 2 of the tires got switched to Pirelli P700s. This vehicle almost got totaled on 12/26/92 when someone decided to run a stop sign while I was approaching an intersection. The Blazer suffered $5500 worth of damage because of that accident. After that, I had a lot of fun with this truck (especially during the winter of 1993-94). But alas, I had a head gasket blow and Camille was no more.

c) 1988 Dark Cherry Caprice Classic with 305 cid V8
Originally, I wanted a Corsica but this car actually served me pretty well. The first reality I faced with it was how it drank gas like a fish (I recall when gas was $2.00/gallon, it cost me $108 on 2 consecutive fill-ups). But I had my fun moments with that boat. One of them was when I raced a Mustang and nosed him out. I also had a ball when people would slow down thinking I was a cop .
However, the engine siezed up on me due to lack of oil and I sold it to a friend of mine for $300.

d) 1994 Maxima GXE
(a.k.a. Maxine Vanessa)
After the Caprice's motor blew, I was doing a lot of car shopping. I looked at Taurus SHOs, Blazers, Impala SSs, Grand Prix GTPs, V8 T-Birds, a Mark VII LSC, '97 Buick Centurys, Grand Ams, Caprice 9C1, and Malibus. I didn't want the Grand Am or Malibu because they were out of my budget. I decided against the Impalas, 9C1, LSC, V8 TBirds because of fuel economy and Chicago Winters. I decided against the SHO because of mileage. I decided against the GTP because of insurance. Finally, I decided against the Century because of the fact it looks too conservative for me. One day, I did a little searching on World Wide Wheels for a '94 Maxima GXE since I had a very good experience with one as a rental car. After doing a little searching, I happened on the Maxima that I have today. I don't regret my decision one bit.

1989 - Ford Escort GT - 5 spd
1994 - Mazda 626 (not worth the money that was put into it)

1989 -- Chevy Lumina 3.1 Auto -- Got it used in 1993, but it was a very nice car. It took me through most of highschool.

1995 -- New Nissan Sentra GXE Auto. Took me through the rest of highschool and all of collage. This will be by last week driving it, since now I'm going to get:

2001 -- New Maxima SE 5spd. I am virtually doubling the power of the car I drive, plus it's going to be a 5spd...if you see someone with a new Max struggling to just pull into the parking lot in Yourtown shopping center...that would be me...

'86 Mitsubishi Galant (sold, cool stuff in it for its time, like a switch that made the steering heavy or lighter, a factory equalizer, and the back seats reclined, the headrests adjusted and the bottom of the back seat moved up and down. Very underpowered though, 110 HP).
'91 Mitsubishi Galant VR-4(father took it as second car, GREAT engine, cornered like a dream, 4 wheel steering, could run with the big boys. 195 HP)
'91 Mitsubishi Galant GSR(still have, pretty peppy for a 2 L 4 cylinder. Had active suspension that either made the car very floaty, just right, or too hard. You could adjust the ride height too. The same adjustible steering thing. Engine and tranny are in grweat condition, the electrical components in the car are iffy though. 140 HP.)
My family had this thing for Galants. Too much unreliable technology though.
