1. 1972 Vega wagon (a real POS, but it wasn't my choice).
2. 1969 Pontiac Catalina (loved it).
3. 1968 Pontiac Firebird (spent too much on it).

5. 1981 Subaru GL hatchback (beater).
6. 1992 Eagle Talon TSi AWD (first new car, fantastic).

A Very Short List...

1. Black '93 Honda Civic DX Coupe, 5 sp manual trans. aka "My Girl"! - Got it for high school graduation. That car saw the entire east coast, including Canada and a good portion of the South. I don't know how many road trips I did between Atlanta and Maryland and Maryland and Syracuse when I was in college.

Had rims on it for 3 years. The worst 3 years of that car's life. I don't recommend putting rims on a Civic. Black limo tint that got me my share of run-ins with the cops.

Was broken into twice. You would think I would have learned to remove the detachable face after the first time it was stolen.

Retired it at 180,000+ miles when I saw Onyx Maximus sitting on the pre-owned lot. That engine still had a lot of life in it. The body, well... it could have used a trip to the body shop.

When they were prepping Maximus I sat against my Civic the entire time. I could not believe I was getting rid of that ca. Now it's gone. I wonder where it is.

By the way, I just happened to stop by the dealer when they loaded it on the 'Take Away' truck. They even backed it on to the truck because it was so low to the ground.

That car never let me down. Even though the rim did come off at 5 am on my way to the club. Thank goodness. My car was sitting on three wheels in the middle of Baltimore. That's why I don't recommend rims on a Civic.

Damn, I'm having a moment. Bear with me, I only got rid of it two months ago. BOOHOOHOOHOOHOO BOOHOOHOOHOOHOO BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

RIP "My Girl" Civic. I hope that nasty dealer found you a happy home.

1a. My company car Taurus the Turtle. It's a solid car... has a nice ride, modest handling ability... slow accelearation. I get a new one every year. So, unless I quit my job... driving a Taurus will be a way of life. Keeps the miles low on the Maxima though.

2. OnyxMaximus - We're still getting acquainted. Almost there though. A few trips to Nissan service still hasn't made me totally warm up to it.

2a. I'm considering an AE... hmm, we'll see.

This is my first car. I love it to death!

Although I do, I'm going to trade it for a BMW 325ci or a Lexus iS300 stick after the payments are up

1. '86 Mitsubishi Galant (4cyl auto) Tons of cool feature I still miss (variable speed sensitive steering, variable speed sensitive wipers, rear reclining seat w/ height ajustable thigh support and storage bin in center armrest, auto climate control (with sensor that pumped A/C higher when sun was beating down), the front driver's seat was ajustable at middle, all head rests were tilt adjustable w/ left/right sliding rears. Sometimes still miss it and was the most comfortable and had the best back seat a guy could ever ask for.

Mods: sound system and '95 Galant rims (that's all)

2. '94 Mazda 626 ES (V6 5spd, fully loaded) - Wow, I'm never going back to automatics!, decent handling/power killed quite a few Hondas and older Nissans, had oscillating vents (swing), same engine as Ford Probe GT and Mazda MX-6. I was fun to drive but sucked me outta tons of dough had to swap tranny twice and engine once, got it with almost 80k miles on it and it has 162k now. I orginally wanted a 92-94 Maxima SE (w/ the 195HP DOHC engine) but I couldn't find/afford the one I wanted. I should have never bought the Mazda.

Mods: advanced timing, cross drilled rotors, 1&1/2" Eibach drop kit w/ Tokico struts, Sony XR-C900 (Mobile ES), Sony XDP-210EQ Digital EQ/Crossover, 3x Rockford Punch Amps running front and back Polk Audio DB series components and 2x 12" DB subs. Was about to drop in a Borla exhaust when the tranny did it to me again. Still have the car, tranny fixed, now for sale.

3. '01 Maxima SE AE 5spd! (fully loaded except for cd chgr) -Finally got what I wanted and even better, an AE! Better job, more money, 1st new car and convinced I should have gotten the Max earlier. What can I say, I love it!

Future.......MAX SE-R 6sp? or BMW 540i 6sp

Here's my past autos'

1. 1984 Mercury Cougar (My first car)

2. 1989 Pontiac Grand Prix (Had this car for about 4 months..bought it used...was a total PIECE!)

3. 1989 Mercury Sable (Laugh all you want but it was actually a very good car...impressed me so much I bought #4...one of my big mistakes)

4. 1995 Ford Ranger (First vehicle I ever bought new..and the last Ford I will ever own...Had trouble with the airbag light, rear-end would vibrate so much at times it would get scary...Dealer wrked on it at least 4 times. I could have pushed some sort of Lemon Law on them but I just wanted out of it quick.... I think Ford didn't make enough of these with the 3.0L & the automatic to get the bugs out...had it for 11 months and traded it off!!)

5. 1996 GMC Sierra (Bought new...LOVED THIS TRUCK...totally loaded except for the 4.3L V6...would have kept it but I moved away from the 'dirt road-pot-hole infested district' to actual paved streets)

6. 1997 Nissan Maxima GXE (Bought New. Was nice but wasn't quite up to what I should have bought in the first place...plus this car kind of held some bad personal memories for me...Never had any real trouble with it mechanically...had the AC compressor replaced under warranty)

7. 2000 Maxima GXE (Bought New... Has everything I need in a vehicle and plenty of power to keep me grinnin')

Hey HaulinMax, I made the same comments on the cool features of the '86 Galant. Too bad they left it all out in the '89 revision.

just a couple of cars

1. 75 Chevy Nova- High School great car that got the crap beat out of it.
2. 82 Nissan Sentra- 2nd car owned in High School. Good car, took alot of abuse. Broke the timing belt and only bent one valve. Nothing else.
3. 85 Buick Century- the biggest piece of crap I ever owned. Yuck! I swear, never again.
4. 90 Chevy Corsica 5 spd - overall pretty good car lots of computer probelms towards the end when I finally blew the head gasket
5. 93 Honda Accord SE - Probably the best overall car that I have owned. No rattles, no squeaks, no probelms in the 6 years I owned it. Not one. Certainly not the fastest car I have driven but a very good car.
6. 00 Nissan Maxima SE - Great car, great fun, and comfortable. Have to go with a poor rating on the fit and finish(paint, plastics, etc...) Enine is great when it runs right. I too suffer from that inconsistant fuel problem. I still love this car, but man, if they(Nissan could get their $hit back together and fix all that stuff, I would definately continue to keep buying Nissan.

Back 2 Max

First car I had was a 1989 Maxima.
Always liked the SHO, so I bought a 1993.
Had to come back to the Maxima when I saw it in 2000.

1971 Chevy Nova Hatchback - Kinda looked like Happy Gilmores car... even the same ugly yellow color.

1986 Olds Cutlas Supreme - I loved this car. Hooked up a nice sound system and dropped a chevy 350 in it. It halled *** but cost me about 40 dollars a week in gas.

1999 Nissan Altima - Good car, traded it in after a year.

2000 Nissan Maxima SE - My baby...

Soon To Come...

2002 BMW M3 Convertible?
