Stereo was ripped out and stolen; dashboard does not light up anymore at night......

Yes; my max was stolen and found within a week with my stereo missing. They butchered the wires to the stereo and now i can't see how fast i'm going at night when i drive. I'm asuming that some wires were cut when they took the stereo.
Also, they smashed the hazard light switch and of course, now i have no hazard lights, and also my blinkers don't work.
Any suggestions as how to resolve this problem? I have a few obvious resolutions, but I wanted your guys imput.

sounds like they shorted the lumination wire w/ ground or it still can be grounded...so pick that wire out and tape it up and replace the fuse.

I noticed when I installed my stereo one wire controls the clock, the illumination, and the seat belts, and antenna,...and when I had it disconnected none of that worked....when i hooked my stereo up right...it all worked again...so..check all the wires where your stereo was...I think its a yellow wire, but i forget.

I'm sure if you buy another hazard switch, the turn signals will function again. Sucks that someone stole you goods though

thanx for the imput guys. I was going to go ahead and just buy a cheap stereo to put in, and have the same guys that installed it the first time do it again. Hopefully everything will be back to normal.
As far as a hazard switch goes........anyone have an extra one laying around? Or should I go to the appropriate forums?

it wouldn't be the hazard switch if all but one of the blinkers worked, right?
