DID your GR-2's get harsh when it got cold?

It's has been about 1-2 weeks of cold weather here(60 or less, not cold to some). My GR-2's are getting really harsh. Who else has this prob?

Others have said that's a problem, and my stocker's definitely do. Hopefully the illumina's won't .

the fluid inside the strut is thicker when cold...meaning stiffer....don't worry about it...kyb's are known to especially do that!

Yep, all struts get stiffer as the weather gets colder. That's why I like having my adjustable Konis. Unfortunately I have to take apart my rear suspension to adjust the sturts.....but I've got it down to about 30 minutes a side. I just adjusted mine yesterday.

Yea I noticed my gr-2's are getting a lil harsher in the cold weather especially after sitting in the parking lot for awhile. The cold also brought some weird noises and such to my car that is annoying but I can't do anything about it until the spring hits.

My illumina's are stiffer in the early mornings until I drive on them for a good 5 minutes, then they are fine.

Yes!!! I went from Tokicos to GR2 and they were indeed stiffer, then in the first winter they turned stiffer still -so much so that March of last year I went back to the Tokicos and I immediately noticed the difference -the Toks are much softer then the GR2s

Ditto. Once they warm up after the first few initial miles my Illuminas feel like normal.

my AGX feel like they are set at 4/8 in the early morning or after sitting outside at work for 6-8hrs at a time when its cold out.

Ive learned to deal with the stiffer feel from the past 2 winters on my Sprint/AGX setup.

Yeah, the GR-2's definitely are stiffer and I'm out in Socal where we have had some crazy *** temps lately. It's suppose to warm the hell up this weekend to 80 degrees and it's been down in the 50 for highs. Go figure.

Everyone's struts get stiffer. I have the GR-2's and they ride terrible in the freezing cold. But besides that they suck anyway so oh well. I really want some illuminas. 50 degree weather would be nice. Up in Reno for the past 2 weeks our high has been 30 degrees and in the mornings its usually about 12 degrees. Just today it finally warmed up a bit we might even have a high of 60 today.
