Hey guys, I hear that when a vtc goes the engine starts to click on acceleration. is this true.what can i do .If so how extensive of a job would this be to fix.

And when i accelerate from a dead stop i hear a creaking sound in the drivers side. ive got under and checked the car and still cant find it. had warspeed y pipe installed but i checked it and no movement. and like i said its under the drivers side from a dead stop. anybody guess?

I had a post that asked about a clicking that seemed to be coming from the trans on the driver side. I was told it may be the input shaft bearing. It was only at slower speeds and under load(ie accelerating). I didn't get any help after that. Good luck.

I didnt want to start a new thread so...
but i have a noise in my max too

sound is comeing from center/right side, where the windsheild meets the dash.
i first thought it might be the "ventscreen" right behind where the hood and windshild meet, and i did find a broken clip and i replaced it, but sure enough that wasnt it
it also is not any the wiper fluid hose clips.

it might be on the inner side of the firewall, and if so, how would i go about ripping that **** open?
must i get to it via the headunit opening?

please help me
-andy

hahah

oops haha
wow i was at school when i posted that one

okay its a soft, rattleing noise, but fast like a buzz kinda
its not loud, but its noticable(and very annoying since my HU isnt installed yet)
it doesnt sound metallic either

if im on completly PERFECT pavement, then its stops, but coming across that in MA is unheard of...

and it just started, ohh like a week and a 1/2 ago.

i was poking aroud under the glove box today (after i installed my silverstar HLs)
and i found a tapping screw that loosend itself and the washer looked as though he was the noisemaker....so i tightend that sucker up
took her for a spin
low and behold
bbzzzzzz
it starts vibrating again
