How to: 00 max AE headlight mod?

ok.....

i finally decided to not buy the projectors from ebay and instead getting my headlights to be like AE ones.

now, anyone has a how to?

i know it has been posted before in here, i swear i saw it, but i can't seem to find the post.

also what kind of paint do i need? can i use the same to paint my tail lights to blacked SE?

i would just recommend buying them like I did. i tried to paint mine and it didnt look right. got them for around $100 each. check last page of my homepage for info about where i got them

I ended up scratching the clear reflective part and that revealed the black behind it, and the scratches where in the wrong places. It looked great fromt afar, but you can see the mistakes up close.

Bake your lights then pry them open. Once you got them open cover anything you dont want painted and spray away.

I did custom AE headlights, looks awesome and cost me nothing.

I didn't need any paint because I simply just rubbed the chrome finish off with a wet towel. I was skeptical at first but it really does just rub off. I have a test headlight if you want to buy it off of me so that you can test it out in the oven and open it up. That was my biggest concern...
