Story of my Maxima w/ first Pics! 56k = No (Pics working now)

I have said this in 1 or 2 of my posts, I recently got the maxima. My first car was a 1994 BMW 325i 5 speed. I put a lot of mods on it. I unfortunately crashed it over a year ago soon after I started college, and it had to be junked. In october I was ready to buy my 2nd car. I didnt research that much like I did in high school for the Bimmer, I just got whatever i could find in the newspaper when I went home for a few days.

I ended up with a 1996 Maxima SE 5 speed. Cloth interior, 123,000 miles and good condition. I immediately replaced the shot stock suspension with springtech springs and KYB Gr2 shocks. I got also got new strut bearings and the 4 rubber shock boots. The previous owner put 20% tints on the back and 35% up front which worked out perfect for me, and he put in a new clutch, brake pads, and Brembo cross drilled rotors up front. He also gave me a crappy cone intake filter that I bolted onto the mass air sensor or whatever that thing is, but I have a Bomz intake on the way. I also transferred my competition level subwoofer and system from the BMW into the maxima as well as the Hamann Aluminum shift **** I had. When you look at the pics keep in mind that the Maxima did settle 1/2 inch lower since I took them which was like right after I installed the suspension.

I dont really care to get the best quality aftermarket stuff on this Maxima because Im going to use it for another 2 years and then move on. It was less than 4 grand for the car so its stupid to spend too much on mods, but I definitely at least need to do some stuff... for some reason I really like having a car that is differentiated from the rest on the road. I am planning on getting for the max:

Aluminum/leather race steering wheel ( i really hate the stock one)
OBX Cat-back exhaust (my entire system is rotted/rusted)
Budget Y-Pipe
Short Shifter
Red/Clear lights (im willing to drop the $ b/c unless they start getting produced, they wont ever lose too much value)
De-badge
19 inch Hp Racing HRP5 rims for the summer (i have 19 inch Nitto tires for free from a friend)

I will post the mod list for the bimmer below

Pics at bottom

here's a tip for future reference

whenever you want to post a pic from your car, say cardomain.com or another site, right click on the pic, press this button paste the link to your pics, and insert as many as you want

zack, I got the same response too

Yeah the handling shift is pretty crazy. And more drastic than that is the steering feel and communication with the road. The 325 is just much more "tight" handling and steering response, not to mention RWD which makes it fun as hell to drive. I miss that car a lot and i would get another one in a second. The M3's are actually not too expensive these days; you can get a nice 95-97 for well under 15 grand, more like 10 or less at a dealers used car auction. I just only had 4 to spend when i was looking at the max.

The 325 was real low with the splitter. It has springs/shocks, 2 inch drop in front and 1.7 rear. ITs crazy because my maxima was supposed to be a 2 inch drop and it looks like a 4x4 compared to the 325. The fenders on the bmw just come down much farther compared to the maxima and it didnt have such a crazy gap as the maxima from the factory. The rear wheels tucked far up into the fender and looked sick with 18 inch rims, something the max cant do. The roads are not that great where i lived. I was just very careful about going up driveways and potholes.

PLEASE TELL ME HOW I GET MY CARDOMAIN PICS TO WORK HERE!

in your case since you are 5spd you should be able to pull high 14's with those 3 basic bolt ons. Most people have depending on your driving skills.
