At what setting should I put CustomMaxima STS??

I just got the STS in the mail today and I'll probably install it sometime soon when I get some jackstands. I'm wondering where I should put the adjustable ball on the threads...

I was thinking about halfway up because I don't want an excessive amount of notchiness (even though I know I'll get at least some with the STS). I don't need a 1 1/2 inch throw or anything, just something noticeably shorter than stock.

Any suggestions?

I agree with what kraimer says, I have the same short shifter and I have mine set to about 4/5 of the way down, the first week or so it was very notchy and till this day, its still pretty rigid, prolly cuz i didnt use the grease which was supposed to come with the kit, but didn't.
