I have HP struts/Progress springs and no lip/kit drop is 1.7F 1.5R... bottomed out once due to a huge hole I didn't see in the road... or was it a bump? Well... either way... its only happened once...

I have s-tech's with Illuminas and the MT front lip. I have never bottomed out. You just have to be careful and on pothole patrol.

I recently test drove a fellow orgers max from ATL. He has the S-Tech. I bottomed it out twice just test driving it. Once on a speed bump(it was freakin camoflauged to the road!!!) and once on a steep incline. On a steep driveway EXPECT to bottom out on something like S-techs. My driveway at home is steep and I could not afford to get the S-techs because I would be wrecking my bumpers constantly. I am even scared to get h-techs because of my driveway. IF you are worried about bottoming out definately stay away from 2 inch drops

be careful but on certain steep inclines you will not have the choice. Like my driveway. If you don't want to bottom out the max go for the mildest drop. Eibach offers 1.3 inches up front.

Had Progress (~ 2" drop all around) and bottomed out on large bumps, potholes, occasional large highway expansion joints. Nothing too terribly frequent, but I did watch the road closely for fear of bottoming when on rough roads. I swapped to H&R's up front and stock in the rear and have only bottomed a couple times in the last month on rediculous bumps. I no longer feel the need to constantly scan the road which is nice.
