Nissan Dealership Advice!!!

So I pick my car up from the dealership yesterday and this guy tells me I need new sparkplugs. I tell him that I just replaced them a week ago. He goes on to tell me that because I had my MAF sensor changed out, they will clean themselves and they no longer need to be replaced... Then he says that the reason I am having a starting problem is because it is not a Nissan OEM starter. Sometimes when I start my car it takes a few cranks, and sometimes it just starts right up. If anyone has any idea what this could be please let me know. Thanks, Greg

Your spark plugs are fine if they are a week old. The MAF has nothing to do with them.

Another example of the top notch dealer mechanics out there.

Your plugs will be fine if the engine wasn't running so rich it stalls.

A starters only job is to spin the engine....the actual starting and running is up the fuel injection and ignition system.

the strter problem is probobly your ignition system. i had the exact same problem like 2 weeks ago. i took it to the place who did my starter cus i thought that was the problem and they said it was the electrical portion of my ignition switch.
