Stillen Classic Lip...a good deal??

Hey guys,

I really like the look of the classic stillen front lip on the 02-03, but I don't want to get the rest of the body kit at this time, because of price. I saw on the Stillen website that it's "marked down" to $169.00 until 12/15/04 and it says that the regular price is $249. So is $169 a great deal on this thing or is there somewhere else to get it cheaper? Also, how do you think it'll look without any of the rest of the body kit? And how much to get her painted?

Thanks,
Brian

$169 sounds pretty damn good to me...depends on how much they're charging for s/h of course. Let us know when you find out.

stillen charges an arm and a leg for shipping, i believe it is around 100 bucks for the shipping.

I recommend you to get it from Steve at southwestautoworks.com, check on the GD section, there is a GD on stillen lips, their price is less than 200 SHIPPED, plus steve is a great guy to deal with.
i got my front piece from him and my back piece from triple8sol.
Triple8sol is also a great seller, i ordered both front and back at the same time, the back came a full week before the front.

Here, i'll make it easy for you, try this link:

Shipping costs for the lip, from the Stillen site:

UPS next day air $294.76
UPS 2nd day air $210.48
UPS 3-day select $149.46
UPS ground $61.02

Well, $240ish after shipping is kinda steep. I don't mean for the lip, I just mean when I take into account the fact that I'm about to buy myself an entire stereo system for the Max. Oh well, I'll think about it for the next day or two.

EDIT: NYGhettho, I didn't see your post before I posted this. I checked out the SWA site and the GD is $214 with free shipping if you're a member. Thanks for the info.
