Honestly? If you have to get a loan for a $3,000 car, I highly suggest not getting it. Why? Because any car that old will probably need $500-$700 of work in the next few years.

the problem is that i am going off to college next summer and i wont be able to just save $3,000, but i can however pay a 100-150 car payment each month.
If you can only afford $100-$150 / month, what will happen when you get a $500 repair bill??

I would definitely look at the Florida car, but ultimately buy the car that had been taken care of the best. I have three SE's with mileages ranging from 104k to 162k. The one that has 162k was a one owner car and the guy babied it. It is in the best shape of the three by far. Buy the best car, not just the one that looks the best or the color you like.

The black one looks to be in nice condition. You can tell by the condition of the rims. It doesn't appear aged with scrapes or peeling around the center caps
All USDM Maximas have automatic belts. Airbag was an option in 92, but standard in 93 and 94.
I would take whichever one has the following:
1) no VTC clacking
2) the most service records
3) smoothest shifting tranny
The VTCs and tranny are the weak spots (and most expensive fixes) in these cars. The engines will go well over 200k if taken care of.
