Best/cheapest homeowner scan tool

Any ideas - for the do it yourself person to pull codes etc????

I got one of those little actron OBDII's. I got it before the max, but its nice to have. However for the max, I would seriously just use a screw driver. The codes that you get from your screw driver are going to be much more specific than those of the OBDII.

afraid of wringing it off- whats the range of motion (rotation) of the screw??

You'll feel it when you turn the screw it will just stop... dont force it... You'll have about a turn and a half each way.

Thanks again

mine is labelled idle adjust low high on left side of the hole
will checking the codes screw up the idle as you probably will not get it back at the same place
sticky in the forum picture does NOT show it labelled like mine idle adjust on the left side of the hole and self diagnoose on the right 12 - 3)) side.
