I dont know how it exactly works but most cars that are rear wheel drive, the rims have different dimensions than cars with front wheel drive. I think it has some thing to do with the offset and the suspension setup but defenatly look into it. that could be the only hing i can think of that cause it to not work.

I have a '00 SE and I was running a set of '04 350Z stocks for a while. I had the 17" 7 spoke ones though, not the 18's. I had some slight problems with rubbing in the rear ( that doesn't sound right???!!!!). I believe they're 17x8 front and rear with a +30 and a +33 offset. I 'm dropped on Tein S-Techs with stock struts, so that could be part of the reason. It would only rub on big bumps or if I had 4 people in my car. If you've got any other springs, I think you'd be okay! Hope this helps. Oh and by the way, if you know somebody looking for 17" 350z's let me know, 'cuz they're still for sale. $600 and they're in excellent condition with no curbage, and about 3k miles on the tires.

edit: the max rims and 350z 18's are almost the same, so you get the idea.

There are a few people with 6th gens I've seen with the 350Z 18s but I don't know if it was just the fronts or if it was the front / back set. I don't know if any are on the org but I'm sure someone in the 6th gen forum could give you the offset info for their car. It shouldn't be too different for the 5th gen. Good luck!

you guys can check out cardomain and browse to see what other maxes have. I know there are a few on there that have the g35 rims and 350 rims on there, not to mention a couple of 6th gen max rims on their 5th gens.
