I have a 99 SE with the Auto Climate System. I am getting two seperate noises coming from what sounds like behind the glove box. The first is just a rattle type noise that sounds like the blower fan or something. It isnt a metalic type rattle, its very plastic sounding.

The second sound comes and goes, but usually only starts when you turn a corner. It is a much louder deeper more raspy sound than the other noise. It usually only happenes for a few moments or so then goes away.

Has any one heard these things going on in their car and know of possible causes and solutions to the problem?

 

Thats where the blower motor is. I have climate control, mine gets a little noisy sometimes after its been on for a long time. Nothing like your explaining though. Taking the glove box out and examining the area while its making the noise might be a good start, its not too hard to do. Sounds like your blower motor is acting up.
