headlight went out

Got a 02 Max and my drivers side headlight went out. Took it to the dealership and they said $250.00 for the bulb and 50.00 to install it. I had to laugh are these xeon light bulb that much? So I told them I have an extended warranty and they said light bulbs are not included in that. So am I stuck buying it from them and putting it in myself, or is there other options, because Im open to suggetion.

I would take it to another dealership and see if they say the same thing. Also read the warranty very carefully.

If its the the bulb that went out you can buy a pair of d2r bulbs 4100k for under 90bucks on ebay, dont let them rip you off by buying it from them, and install shouldnt be that difficult i dont think its worth 50.

You can buy 2 BRAND NEW Philips D2R bulbs off ebay for like $70 shipped.

Installation takes seconds.
