Strong Oil Smell!! WTF!!!

Strong Oil Smell!! WTF!!!

ok when ever i come to a stop i get a strong oil smell in the car, but when i drive away it goes away also, i check for oil leaks and oil lvl everything was good. Any ideas on whats going on ppl?

Running rich means that too much fuel is entering per unit of air. Pulling any codes?

how is running rich too much oil? runing rich has nothing to do with oil level. runing rich deals with burning more fuel.

I used to smell burnt oil, its your valve cover leaking onto your rear header.. change gaskets

thats wat i was thinking to man, becuz when i put the heat on i smell it more and more.

a few weeks ago mine smelled like that, turns out i was burning rich because my fuel injectors were spraying fuel into my engine

how the hell it did that? and isnt it suppose to do that? thats why its called "fuel injectors "

well yea, but they were spraying gasonline (fuel) into the actual pistons, which can cause a bent piston rod or a warped piston... and i dont kno why they went ape **** they just did
