fuel pump, or just *that* cold?
yesterday morning was our first real cold morning of the season. car hesitated a second before starting, then once it turned over it cut off after a second or two. waited a few seconds, then tried again -- car runs for a second, then cuts off. after the second time, the car won't start at all.
i tried a jumpstart, even let the battery sit connected to the other car to let it charge for a minute, but no luck.
the only thing awry with the car that i've noticed since i've had it has been a sluggishness in response when i try to accelerate quickly. once the rpms hit about 3k or 4k the engine kind of stutters a bit. this happened in an older car of mine and it was one of the coils, so i'm guessing it's the same problem here.
for the current problem it really just seems like the engine is getting no gas, but i wonder if the fuel pump is shot or if maybe there's a clog or frozen spot in the fuel line. not extremely worried since my used car warranty should cover whatever needs to be fixed, just wondering if anyone has any other ideas i haven't considered. while the car is in i'm going to get the ignition coils replaced as well.

Have a look at this. Might be helpful to you. I've been following it the past few days.

thanks MilesA, i'll give this a shot. since i have a few days off for the holidays i'm going to get everything looked at regardless, but i'll definitely keep this info handy.
