I usually fill it up so that I won't have to refill it for a long time.

Question

I put the fluid through the Rube like thing. Is that all that holds the fluid, or the fluid you pour in the drain tube, does that then empty the fluid into some other part?

The reason Im asking is I just filled the tube up about a week ago and I dont see anymore fluid in the tube, but the light is not on

I fill it up all the way when the light comes on

The tube you see on top is connected to a bottle right under it

I keep it filled all the way with that rainX de-icer fluid in the winter, and rainX bug and tar remover during every other season, never switched back it works great.

I usually put the de-icer formula during the winter months, then during the warmer months i'll switch back to the blue stuff

btw found this useful from the how-to's, esp to those of us that don't have the low-fluid light activated
