hi i was wondering how to take off the actually leather from the seat as im trying to do a suede inserts. Also anyone have any tips? such as cutting the leather and then sewing the new fabric on or sewing over etc...thanks!

it wont just slip off. you would have to cut it along the seam then re-sew it

 

so when people get that group buy leather seats, they have cut it and resew it?

 

no, they have to cut these rings that hold the covers to the seat, slide the covers on, and then reattach the rings

 

oh got it, cool deal i hope i can pull it off without too many hiccups
