Well, I got a viper 791XV alarm installed about 2 weeks ago, and the remote has trunk release on it... well before I had it installed, the trunk release button on the door worked, now it doesn't... is this something they (they being the company that installed it) are going to be able to fix or is this permanent? The trunk release on the remote works, just not inside the car.... I'm getting a cam installed in my keyhole so it's pretty important that the button works...

 

Well if the trunk pops open with the remote, it's not the trunk lock inside the trunk or a fuse.

Most likely they just forgot to plug in the switch on the door. Doesn't seem like big problem.
