04 Maxima issue with only 300 miles on it?

Hey all,

I just purchased an 04 Maxima SE, end of year special... Anyway I have about 300 miles on the Maxima, and 100 of them I didn't put on it. My question is I was driving the car this morning and I noticed the Battery and Brake warning lite would blink on then off. It is inconsistant for what's making this happen, and I thought it was kinda strange. Though I can say after driving it for a while it stopped. This is the second time I noticed this, but the fist time it was just the battery light. My intentions is to take the car back to the dealer and have them look at it, but I don't feel this is a good start for a new car. Has anyone had this problem, if so what was the issue?

Noob,
Jay

I think it would be a good idea to have it check, if it does it again, just to be sure.

Take it to the dealer just so they have a record of it, and maybe can tell you whats triggering the problem.

That's a low voltage warning usually if the ABS light goes on. The serpentine belt could be loose or something...

def. have that checked out ... as Sonic said, your belt could be loose, but that's unlikely for an '04 w/ that few miles

Unlikely but possible. You never know and with that little amount of miles on the car something isnt right. I would def take it to the dealership so they can take a look at it and put it on file.
