It's not that they take forever to ship, it's that the parts must be sourced from several warehouses....overseas.

I used to sell these, but got sick of the BS with everyone b!tching about how long it took even though I warned them ahead of ordering time....

I found a better contact a few months back and could probably sell them for $350 - but it's not worth my time or effort with how *****y some people can be.

(I say some because I know others were extremely cool to work with and patient - and I'm not bagging on everyone - just a select few.....you know who you are)

Because for many people, ease of installation is a major consideration, and the 00vi takes much more work to install. Also the 00vi isn't very well known yet. It's only been a "mod" for 4th gens for like 2 months now.

insaw?

Who's insaw?

I don't do this anymore....and getting replacement parts is nearly impossible and not worth the time/effort/shipping costs.

Best thing to do is find a matching screw at a hardware store and take one of the other butterfly plates and have a machinist copy it.

ALTHOUGH - I bet the 00VI uses the same Butterflies.....maybe a local dealer would have it. If not, there's probably another engine that uses them....

exactly what Nealoc said...I remember reading of many parts that have to be fabricated before the install, which turns off many people. If courtesy could somehow mass-produce the new parts needed for the install, and sell them either as a kit with 00vi, or alone, I'm sure they could make a little money.

edit: I mean a lot of money when this mod really takes off.

An installation kit for the 00VI would be nice. Injector adapters etc etc, egr plates etc etc. Keeping your midrange power is well worth the extra work needed to be done. Bottom line:

00VI = MEVI + mid range power + little bit more work
