manual says need apply sealant to the thread of the cylinder drain plug before plugging it back (unplugged to drain coolant). my question is, what kind of sealant shall i use? heard it's bad to use silicon sealant. what brand/type do you use?

 

RVT should work

 

When I flushed mine I put teflon tape on it. You can get it at hardware store or home depot or lowes. Just make sure you wrap the threads the right way. Basically, what you wanna do is wrap it on there like you were trying to thread a nut on a bolt. You only need to go around it like 2 times.
