hehe.. I've had two red escorts, a red ford explorer and a red isuzu pickup (all within a few years) I think it's safe to say that if you were going 80 on the highway, and I was going 100, you would get pulled over...

This is it!

Sorry medicsonic i have to reveal the color. It's metallic gold, i just did them last week. To all you that did them already i assume you used high temp caliper paint or engine enamel because brakes stay very cold right.

I figure the stuff is made to be put on ouside things such as metal patio table that will hit very high temps on hot days... therefore they should be fine for my brakes.

Fantastic! Thanks for posting us the hint. I have a deep blue pearl SE that would look so hot with this upgrade. Is this Rustoleum paint heat tempered??

I found "Cobalt Blue Metallic" Rustoleum at Home Depot. It's the closest looking one to what you have. Could you tell me what the code number and name is on your can?

Also, how's the paint holding up? I'm prepping to do my front grill, rather than go with a Stillen replacement. I think it'll look pretty cool, esp. when teamed up with the brake calipers.

I don't think anyone has mentioned it, but I painted my calipers black so that they aren't too noticeable and look cleaner. The paint was chipping (hi-temp engine paint), so I was told by Murphy_Mike to use the black paint for outdoor grills. I had never thought of that, but it makes sense. It's made to withstand the elements, and its extremely high temp. So if you want black calipers that's the way to go
