Loud clicking when making a hard turn. lowered car + nissan = not covered?
I know there is a long thread about this topic somewhere, but i can't seem to find it.
basicly, i am wondering when you guys had this problem with your lowered car, did nissan fix it for you under warrenty? I am sure they will try to give me some annoying speech about the aftermarket struts damaged the yada yada...
any idea guys?

Irish has it right. I had the same issue, but Im not lowered. Now, the warranty comes into play when you can prove that the lowering springs indeed did NOT cause the problem. Sounds simple enough, but proving that to nissan is more difficult than it seems -- even if you have hard evidence.
Yes, it seems as though it is only coming from the right front passenger side... and only happens when I take a really hard left hand turn. (Like trying to park in tight squeeze.) I remember reading a thread about this maybe 5 months ago or so.
My first thought was the same as Irish, but I am not completely sure. At this time, I am not sure what I want to do... I really do not want to take it to Nissan only to have them tell me it is not covered, and then they slap me with a bill for labor. I suppose I will take it else where to have it looked at.
E55amg2, you say you had the same problem with your car and you were not lowered? I wonder how common this issue is. I hardly think that Nissan will cover it... it is like they have a book full excuses for any comment that I make... and a different book full of rebuttal’s.

Blown CVs are common, just make sure you get it fixed ASAP. I let it linger and ended up needing 2 new axles and CV joints. Needless to say it was not cheap.
Go into the dealership, and tell them you want an appointment for an oil change, the day you show up to drop off the car, tell them "while you're at it, I'm having a problem with........." If you're getting another service performed, they usually tend to be a lot more receptive. At least my dealership back in Florida was.
