B-pipe with all other exhaust OEM...
Anyone fitted a Budget (or other) b-pipe with everything else in the exhaust system STOCK? Any impressions?
And YES, I know I "should get a y-pipe, headers," etc etc etc. I'm asking this question for a specific reason:
I am looking for what I can do
-keeping it quiet (stock muffler)
-keeping it Va. emissions-legal (i.e. no y-pipe right now)
-something small and inexpensive.
I eventually plan to do Cattman y-pipe and Frankencar catback...but that's another discussion for another time. Just interested in b-pipe power gain and/or sound differences with all else stock.

josh,
you can still be VA emissions legal with a y-pipe. the precats are only needed until the main cat warms up. once that happens the precats arent doing anything except restricting the flow.
as long as your car is warmed up (5 minutes of running) then you will pass with no problems
