I think i'm going nuts...

Everytime I start my car in the cold, and turn the wheel, it fights back and makes a loud squealing sound, making it near impossible to turn the wheel sometimes. It's fine when the car warms up, but it annoys the hell out of me every morning. I checked my power steering fluid, and it seemed to be full, then I realized that maybe the power steering fluid was somewhere else in the engine bay, and i just couldn't find it. Is it located on the left side of the engine bay, behind the windhield wiper fluid?

What could be some other solutions to my problem?

Thanks in advance.

Loose belt? I replaced my belts and didnt tighten them enough and they chirped like hell. Maybe your PS belt is loose and slipping. Anyway, just feel the belt, if theres more than an inch of play, which is still a lot, thats probably the culprit. And I think the PS reservoir is on the passenger side in fron of the strut tower, big ole thing.
