Autoluminaion LED owners, STEP IN!

I have replaced all of the lights on my Max with autolumuination LEDs and am experiencing quick flashing on all the lights. Not that I mind, but I was wondering if anyone else has this problem and if they have found a solution for it? I am guessing that it is simaply a matter of mismatched wattage/inadequate resistance?

Well, the one thing I am also thinking is that the rear 1156A bulb is SUPPOSED to have angled contacts, but it doesn't. I am thinking that maybe one of the contacts needs to be clipped?

mine did that right before they went dead. i bought 8 bulbs from them, and only 3 have survived so far... needless to say i am not happy with the product, but their customer service was awsome.

I am through with autoillumination. I replaced all of my bulbs with their **** and everything blew out about 3 - 4 months later. I get my bulbs from superbrightleds and have not had one problem with their product yet.

I've had autolumination's bulbs in my car since the summer and i'm very happy with them, i've had no problem with them burning out or flashing. Now if your talking about the turning signals flashing quickly that's different.

If the actual turn signals blink faster that is becuase you need load resistors.

Yes, that is the 'problem'. I don't mind the fact that they flash quickly, but if there was a way to fix it, I'd be all the more inclined to do so.

Like I said if you want to fix that problem you need a load resistor. If you go to www.superbrightleds.com. They have one for 4.99. That will fix the quick flashing problem.

The turn signals don't flash quicker. The problem is the clearance LED's from autolumination will flicker then die after some time. This has happened to 2 out of 4 bulbs I bought from them. I'll have to try again....

I wouldn't be surprised if they were mismatched. I got a set of mismatched LED's from these guys, and they refused to replace them.

I've bought about a dozen LEDs from them and I've been happy. I also bought the load resistors for my Yamaha and they work great. Although I dont use turn signals on the bike so they are pointless, ha. I also bought them for the Max but havent installed them b/c I'm super lazy...seriously, I havent been to the mailbox in a week and its 15 feet from my garage door.

Not sure what to tell you about the flickering of ALL lights. That sounds strange. Can you email them and ask them directly?

Eric

i didnt have any of these problems, but i hated the color! i asked for super white and i think they were the super white bulbs, but they had a REALLY strong hint of blue in them...they were way more blue than when the Xenons are first turning on (they turn a little bit more white as they warm up), so i just kinda put them in my drawer and havent gotten them out since...now i have all polargs and they are awesome, much better color, and from what ive heard, they last a lot longer
