Hello

i was just wondering what the black plastic air chamber is on my intake right after the MAF. it is about the size of a coffee mug with little spout at the bottom. i think it is for air flow so when you do punch it it has that little bit before it starts to suck from the intake.. kinda like a resivoir for air ..

does anyone know what im talking about?

if so do you think you can mod that box at all?
or could you hookup a hose with a filter and locate it in a good cool spot. would that do anything when attached to the spout hole in the resivoir bottom?
