When I get some tax return money will go to junk yards to try to buy from HID projectors from a crashed car, but woul like to know from which cars (BMW, Lexus, Mercedes, Acura) will fit into our regular headlight housing; of course will be lots of cutting/labor involved to fit them in that I do not even know how to do it. And how much should I pay?

 

Its spelled PROJECTOR. The brands you listed above have projectors that should fit into the maxima headlight housing. You should get another set of headlights to practice on, since you have no experience with installing projectors. For a HID system containing, Bulbs, Ballasts, Igniters, Projectors, and misc wiring, you should pay around 200-300 depending which car they came from. I would suggest that you get bi-xenon projectors, to get High beam.

 

Thanks for the info and misspelled word corrected. If get them may end up paying someone to put them in for me; otherwise may damage everything; hopefully somebody writes instruccions of how to do it soon.
